We’ve just added our custom 252 Award scoresheet to the downloads section. Free to use, and includes the current threshold score tables for most bow types.
Progress Pathway – 252 Award
The 252 scheme consists of shooting 3 dozen arrows at increasing distances using five zone scoring (9, 7, 5, 3, 1), with 6 sighter arrows first on a 122 cm target face.
When a score of 252 or more is achieved, a quiver badge is awarded for displaying the distance and the legend 252. These are available at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 80 and 100 yard distances.
If you wish to apply the 252-scheme to shooting styles other than recurve, be sure to consult the following table for equivalent scores across different bow styles.

Progress Pathway – JustShoot
JustShoot is an entry level award scheme designed for new archers. You shoot 12 arrows at 10m in ends of three arrows at a 122cm target. This award scheme is based on score thresholds and you can earn badges at each threshold.

Progress Pathway – Pathway

Our Progress Pathway has been designed to help Novice archers, new to Archery to progress through different award schemes, at each step along the way increasing the shooting distance, the number of arrows shot or reducing the size of the target. This gradual change in shooting with measured levels of success gives you the confidence to improve your archery with small incremental changes whilst maintaining confidence. You choose when to move onto the next stage of the pathway, when you are ready. There is no rush to work up through the stages, its your journey, move up when you’re confident and ready.
You don’t need to do each stage in order, you can skip stages if you want to try something different, and there is no qualification or graduation to the next level, move up when it feels right for you.
